Our Second Workshop - Script Writing

On Tuesday February 12th, the Confetti Act team went into Cottage Grove primary school for our second workshop.

At the end of the previous week we had asked the children to come up with a character ready for this week's workshop.

We started the workshop with another name game and a storytelling game to get the children thinking about creating a narrative.

We then split the children into groups so that they could work together to create a short piece of theatre involving each of their characters.

At the end of the session the groups performed their pieces on the small stage in the hall. We saw a group which travelled to the moon, kidnapped snakes and a beached mermaid.

The children really started to come out of their shells this week and we saw some lovely personalities working together to make some wonderful pieces of theatre.
